Spaghetti Dinner and Benefit

Sunday, September 27, 2009 was our Spaghetti Dinner benefit at the Tuscora Park Pavilion in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The event included a 50/50 drawing and bake sale.
100% of the procedes raised during that event stayed in Tuscarawas County to help those with Down Syndrome.

Down Syndrome Facts

Down Syndrome is the most frequently occurring chromosomal disorder, effecting approximately 1 in every 800-1,000 births in the United States. In Tuscarawas County, the Down Syndrome birth-rate is higher than the National Average.

Down Syndrome effects people of all ages, races and economic backgrounds.

More than 350,000 people in the U.S. have Down syndrome.

95% of persons with Down syndrome have an extra copy of the 21st chromosome in every cell.
